QA Engineer
Required Competencies:
- BS, MS or better in CS or EECS, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years experience working as a white/black box tester
- Proficiency in designing and developing applications for purposes of testing (load and functionality)
- Proficiency in Python, Java
- Familiarity with shell scripting and regular expressions
Responsibilities:
- Own the quality of major product area; define and review testing methodology, test plans, and test cases
- Own the quality criteria for each product release
- Contribute to improving overall QA process, metrics and automation tools

Sr. Peer-to-Peer Software Engineer
BitTorrent is looking for brilliant Peer-to-Peer Software Engineers. It is required that candidates have directly invested significant coding hours towards a widely-used peer-to-peer client. Possessing working experience in peer-to-peer technologies outside of BitTorrent (such as eMule) is highly desirable. It's also desirable to be able to work with UI frameworks on both OS X and Windows. As with all candidates, raw intelligence and cultural fit are extremely important.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years programming experience with C/C++
- Thorough understanding of UI frameworks for Windows and OS X
- Ability to script/automate/instrument using languages like Python
- A good sense of humor

Sr. Web Marketing Manager
Role/Purpose:
Responsible for leading and optimizing the web presence of BitTorrent’s various internet properties. Provide strategic insight and direction to Bittorrent’s industry marketing, product marketing and field marketing professionals regarding how to leverage the web to exceed business and marketing objectives. The role is an integral part of the management of all associated industry areas of the website to ensure that the strategy, content, and user experience is fresh, relevant and effective with our customers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand the family of Bittorrent’s properties and provide strategic insight and direction into how they can be leveraged to meet business/marketing objectives
- Develop, recommend and validate proposed solutions in collaboration with Bittorrent’s Team and clearly communicate with all internal stakeholders
- Direct web improvements based on established web guidelines (interactive, design and editorial) and manage the tactical day to day project operations and communications with key stakeholders
- Oversee web analytics efforts, provide regular reports against target goals, and pro-actively lead SEO efforts to increase reach to the proper target audiences.
- Work collaboratively with the Bittorrent’s Team (production, editorial, design) to successfully plan, coordinate, launch and measure web marketing projects
- Build and cultivate strong strategic, partner-based relationships with marketing and industry colleagues at all organizational levels across Bittorrent's.
- Represent industry perspective and advocate on behalf of industry partners for large web projects and feature enhancements to be considered for the Web Development roadmap
- Ensure new features and opportunities are presented to industry partners and recommend how to use them
- Consistently represent a global perspective and manage localization on projects
- Resolve issues, work to shared timelines, and manage expectations
- Manage and consult external vendors as needed
- Demonstrate leadership and expertise in managing a web strategy and developing employees
Requirements:
- 6 to 8 years experience with web marketing and/or production/project management
- 4 to 6 years leading teams and developing employees
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
- Passionate for the Web and providing exceptional online customer experience
- Strong analytical, organizational and project management and presentation skills
- Strong expertise and blend of skills in web, business administration, operations and marketing
- Ability to prioritize, lead and sometimes reconcile competing objectives, priorities and resources in order to align with changing business needs
- Attention to detail and knowledge of web standards, design and usability
- Familiar with a wide range of internet technology including content management, site analytics, web design, graphic design, web development, SEO
- Enthusiastic team player and web ambassador with strong influencing skills
- Ideal candidate will have experience in both consumer and enterprise marketing efforts.
- Must be innovative and have the ability to identify new opportunities to exploit Internet-based technology to foster awareness, drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
