Management and Monitoring
To begin managing the peer acceleration of your objects, visit the BitTorrent DNA Analytics at http://dna.bittorrent.com/login (as shown in Figure 1) and log in.

Figure 1: BitTorrent DNA Analytics Login
Once you have logged in, you will see a My Dashboard screen like that shown in Figure 2.

Figure 2: BitTorrent DNA Analytics – My Dashboard
The My Dashboard enables a customized view of reports that provide visibility into DNA delivery statistics. Different graphs and tables can added to My Dashboard by going to the Reports tab selecting a specific report and selecting “Add Graph to My Dashboard”, see Figure 3.
These graphs and tables can be repositioned and reordered on the dashboard using drag-and-drop.

Figure 3: BitTorrent DNA Analytics – Reports
The Domains & Torrents tab, shown in Figure 4, provides a wealth of reporting and management control over Domains and Files being accelerated using BitTorrent DNA. There are five main sections to this screen:
- Date Range
- Statistics
- Domains
- Torrents
- URL Requirements Tester
Each of these is described below in more detail.
Date Range
In the upper left hand corner of this screen is the data range.
Changing the date range will update the statistics for the specified time period in the charts and tables on the rest of the page. Date range options include: Hour, Day, Week, Month, and Year.
Statistics
This section provides an overall summary “web bytes delivered” and “peer network bytes delivered” to date both in tabular and graphical formats. The ratio of these figures is the percentage of traffic “offloaded” to the peer network and is shown as a graphical meter. This section provides an overall summary “deliveries initiated” and “deliveries completed” to date.
Domains
This section lists all domains and sub-domains enabled for BitTorrent DNA acceleration. Origin URLs must match a domain in this list to enjoy BitTorrent DNA acceleration. Note that full tertiary domains must be specified (i.e., download.bittorrent.com, rather than just bittorrent.com). For each domain the following statistics are given: Domain Name, Initiated Deliveries, Completed Deliveries, Company Name, Creation Data, Peer Bytes Total, Web Bytes Total, Total Bytes, Offload, and Suspended.
Domains may be added or suspended here.
Torrents
This section provides detailed statistics per-object for accelerated URLs. For each URL, the following statistics are given: Torrent Name, Domain Name, Infohash, Retrieval Date, File Size, Initiated Deliveries, Completed Deliveries, Peer Bytes Total, Web Bytes Total, Total Bytes, Offload, and Enabled. In addition, controls are provided to enable or disable BitTorrent DNA acceleration for each URL.
URL Requirements Tester
The URL Requirements Tester tool can verify that an origin URL is served by a server or CDN meeting certain technical requirements. Specifically, keep-alive connections and HTTP range requests must be supported.
