BitTorrent, Inc. Adds Former CNN Producer Harrison Bohrman as News Director

BitTorrent, Inc. has added Harrison Bohrman to its newest initiative BitTorrent News. As BitTorrent’s first ever News Director, Harrison Bohrman is tasked with building a news team from the ground up, leading the development, planning and production for BitTorrent News, a live-streaming TV news network.

Most recently, Bohrman worked as a Senior Producer of Creative Development at Viceland, Vice’s new television network. Prior to that, Bohrman spent over five years writing and producing on Emmy and Peabody award-winning teams at CNN. His work was also nominated for GLAAD’s Outstanding TV Journalism Segment Award. While at the network, Bohrman discovered SiriusXM radio host Pete Dominick and co-created the original series “What the Week with Pete Dominick”.

In 2009, Bohrman assisted in the relaunch of “In Session,” formerly Court TV. Bohrman has also worked in film, co-producing “Bomb It,” a documentary that explores the subversive world of graffiti and street art from New York to Berlin. The film, a New York Times Critic’s Pick documentary, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and received critical praise across publications including Variety, Los Angeles Times, Huffington Post, The Advocate, and New York Daily News.

Bohrman received his bachelor’s degree from University of Arizona, where he studied film and television.
