Moon Taxi to Premiere Live in Austin EP in New BitTorrent Bundle

The Immersion Bundle, a digital collection from the Nashville faithful, is out Sept 5th.

Since their breakout album Cabaret in 2013, Moon Taxi have quickly ascended the ranks. Their follow-up LP Mountains Beaches Cities saw the indie rock band hit their stride. As the five-piece prepares for their coast-to-coast “Animal Style Tour”, they’ve announced the release of a new EP Live in Austin, available exclusively on BitTorrent Bundle, Sept 5th.

Before leaving for tour, we wanted to give our fans something back for all the support they’ve shown us. The “Live in Austin” EP and BitTorrent Bundle gave us that chance. – Spencer Thomson, Lead Guitarist

Live in Austin was recorded live at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin, TX. Featuring five tracks, the EP is the band’s third official release in just two years. Moon Taxi’s upcoming BitTorrent Bundle will feature this new EP, past singles, video, and stems from their latest single. Countdown to Sept. 5th starts now.

For me, the stems are what I’m probably most excited about. I’d love to hear some different takes on “Morocco” from our fans. – Spencer Thomson, Lead Guitarist

About BitTorrent Bundle

BitTorrent Bundle is an alpha project made with and for the web’s creative community. Our mission is to help artists connect directly with fans, inside the content they share.

Each BitTorrent Bundle allows artists to distribute content directly to the Internet. And each Bundle comes with a key. Fans can unlock artist content with an email address. The idea is to make each song a storefront, and each file more valuable, every time it’s shared. Got ideas for the next BitTorrent Bundle? Hit us up.
